The Story

Born from talent,
built with heart

The idea for Tamissa has lived with me for years — appearing, disappearing, and returning stronger each time.

I always knew I was creative. But more than that, I was raised in a home where creating by hand was simply part of life.

My father, who passed away four years ago, was an extraordinary artist and craftsman. He didn’t just teach me techniques — he taught me how to see.

He could look at something others might ignore, or even throw away, and imagine what it could become. From him, I learned that creativity is not about what you have — it’s about how you see it.

For years, people around me would say, "Why don’t you share your work?" And eventually, I understood something simple:

Opportunities don’t arrive fully formed. We build them — step by step — from what we already have.

So I decided to share my work, hoping it finds its way to people who connect with its colours, its energy, and its story.

My pieces move across many materials and techniques — wood, resin, UV resin, acrylic painting, decoupage, sculpting, carving, mosaic, and more. Some are shaped entirely by hand. Others involve tools, layers, and experimentation. Each material opens a different path.

Colour is at the centre of everything I create. I see it as something we experience every day — and when used with intention, it can transform how a space feels, and how we feel within it.

Tamissa is also a family story. We are three siblings, and creativity runs through all of us. Every piece here is handmade, personal, and unique — no two are ever truly the same, unless created by request.

Collaboration is an important part of this journey. I am surrounded by talented artists whose work deserves to be seen — whether it is dark, light, honest, or experimental.

Some pieces were created in collaboration with a brilliant artist and close friend. This collaboration brings a different depth and perspective to the work, and more will be shared soon.

Tamissa is, at its core, about one thing:

Taking what exists — and seeing what it could become.
